Mastering difficult conversations - a workbook
A guide on how to master difficult conversations along with a workbook that will deepen your self-awareness around this topic and let you know what you need to act on.
Overview:
From time to time we all find ourselves in a situation where we need to have a difficult conversation with someone. Challenging conversations are everywhere, can happen with anyone.
If you are able to have these conversations well, you can have a more engaged team, win the favour of your superiors, have better collaboration with your colleagues, you can enjoy more fulfilling relationships, and you can glide through awkward social situations comfortably.
It make sense then to become more competent in handling these conversations, doesn’t it?
That's where this self-paced course comes in.
This course can change the way you think about tough conversations, become more aware of your style, understand in what way you need to change, and then actually bring about that change.
Learning Format
How will we do this? This learning is organised into short videos and text that give you insight on one aspect of difficult conversations at a time, followed by prompts to reflect upon your real-life experiences. As you progress, you are able to relate to what you are hearing and reading to your life, and you will start getting your own insights on doing better at them. In the latter part of the course, there will be some tools that you can apply to any difficult situation in the future to handle tough conversations better. If you keep reflecting and keep practicing as described in this course, these learnings will become second nature to you. So let’s get started.
A guided worksheet built on Notion to understand and get over your deep seated attitudes that make conversations difficult, and how to master them.
